1. What is patience?
a. It is the ability to take punishment from evil people without getting angry,irritated, or wanting vengeance.

2. I don't practice patience. As a result, I get angry, irritated, and sometimes lose my temper.
4. Who is responsible for my failure to be patient?
a. The evil person coming against me is responsible.
b. I am responsible.
c. The trail or circumstance of evil is responsible.
5. I get so upset with
that I lose my patience.
Psalm 97:10 (NIV):
Let those who love the LORD hate evil,
for he guards the lives of his faithful ones
and delivers them from the hand of the wicked.
6. There is no way I won't get angry when someone plucks a nerve in me.
Job 4:2 (NIV): If someone ventures a word with you, will you be impatient?
But who can keep from speaking?
7. Have you become unforgiving, ungracious, and incompassionate toward the person(s) not abounding in love and kindness toward you.
Nehemiah 9:17 (NIV):
They refused to listen and failed to remember the miracles you
performed among them. They became stiff-necked and in their
rebellion appointed a leader in order to return to their
slavery. But you are a forgiving God, gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger and abounding in love. Therefore you did not desert them.
8. I can’t open up and show patience as Jesus did.
1 Timothy 1:16 (NIV) :
But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me,
the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his
unlimited patience as an example for those who would
believe on him and receive eternal life.
9. From now on, I will not get vengeance for the evil done to me.
Deuteronomy 32:35-36 (NIV):
It is mine to avenge; I will repay.
In due time their foot will slip;
their day of disaster is near
and their doom rushes upon them.
The LORD will judge his people and have compassion on his servants
when he sees their strength is gone
and no one is left, slave or free.
10. I have asked God to forgive me for being impatient.
11. I now show patience because ...
a. I can wait long without getting weary or losing my temper.
b. I can take punishment without becoming angry.
c. I can endure without wanting to get vengeance.
d. All of the above.
12. I have prayed for the evil person(s) or situation(s) that cause me to demonstrate impatience.
