Many people have mixed feelings about tithing because
they feel that their money is going towards the pastor's Rolls Royces,
Bentleys, or private jets. In order for a church to be
maintained, numerous expenses are incurred. These expenses include such items as employees,
water, sanitation, electricity, rent, missions, outreaches,
etc. God's Word states, "It is up to you to bring the
tithe into the store house,
so that there may be food in my house." You must be obedient
to God's Word. If a pastor is abusing God's stores, he
will be held accountable. Don't you
be found guilty of disobedience or missing out on your
blessings by trying to stop a pastor from misusing God's tithe.
Malachi 3:10-11 states, "And see if I will not throw
open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing
that you will not have room enough for it. I will
prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in
your fields will not cast their fruit." Do you want God's
protection? Do you believe in God's Word?
If so, it is worthwhile for you tithe.
