Forgiveness

Do you want God to answer your prayers? If yes, then it is time to look deep within yourself and see if someone has hurt you and as a result, you haven’t forgiven them. Whenever you pray or want true repentance, you must forgive others. Colossians 3:13 (NIV) states, “Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” Therefore, forgiveness should be a part of your daily spiritual walk, so that our Father in heaven may also forgive our trespasses. Matthew 18: 21, 22 (KJ) states, “Then came Peter to him, and said, ‘Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?’ Jesus saith unto him, ‘I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.’” You must forgive a person that has sinned against you. Therefore, forgive immediately and escape offense as soon as it occurs.
