Many people have mixed feelings about tithing because they feel their money is going towards the pastors Rolls Royces, Bentleys, or private jets. In order for a church to be maintained it requires numerous expenses for the employees, water, sanitation, electricity, rent, missions, outreaches, etc. God's Word states, "Bring all the tithes into  the storehouse,  that there may be food in My house and try Me now in this,"  Says the Lord of hosts.  "If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessings that there will not be room enough to receive it.  And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes. So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field, says the Lord of hosts. Malachi 3:10,11 (NIV).  You must be obedient to God's Word. If a pastor is abusing God's stores then he will be held accountable, but don't be found guilty of disobedience or missing out of your blessings to stop a pastor from purchasing possession's.  Do you want God's protection?  Do you believe in God's Word?  If so, it is worthwhile for you tithe.
